Cool Guard is the brand name for stylish cooling scarves and cooling pads in more than 50 different designs. Cool Guard is produced in Canada, is made of 100% high-quality cotton, and tested for colorfastness and skin-friendliness.
Instructions for use
- Soak Cool Guard in lukewarm water for 20 to 30 minutes. Knead occasionally so that the crystals distribute well. Water will be absorbed while the Cool Guard swells.
- Place the Cool Guard on a clean towel and wipe off the excess water.
- You can now use the Cool Guard.
Why it works
During use, the absorbed water will slowly evaporate. As a result, heat is drawn from your body. Because the Cool Guard is worn around the neck or forehead the blood going through the main artery is cooled and then travels to the rest of the body thus cooling the core body temperature.
In case you feel that the Cool Guard giving off less coolness, simply turn it over. The outside is always cool. You can also put the Cool Guard aside for 5-10 minutes, after which it will have cooled down again.
The Cool Guard provides up to 3 days of cooling and can be reused for a long time.
Maintenance
The Cool Guard Ties can be hand washed and should be hung dry.
Allow to dry when not in use.
As long as the product contains moisture, it must be able to breathe (so do not store it in a closed bag or container) to prevent mold.
Please note: the Coolguard must never be left in the water for longer than 30 minutes. The crystals would absorb too much water, increasing the risk of tearing or leaking.
